Constipation

Constipation is the decreased frequency of defecation accompanied by feces which contain decreased concentration of water. The consistency varies from being hard, to dry and of small bulk. Scant feces, which are most common in adult ruminants, is characterized by the passage of small quantities of feces which may be dry or soft.
