Micronutrients play a major role in the metabolism of poultry as coenzymes, which in turn help in turn the bird to produce more eggs and more meat.
Deficiency of these micronutrients such as Manganese, Zinc, Iron, Copper and Selenium will result in perosis, poor hatchability, anaemia, goiter, poor feathering, short bones, slow growth, decreased feed efficiency, immune disturbances and mortality.
Stress, poor quality mineral mixture and feed ingredients demand supplementation of additional micronutrients for optimum productivity in poultry.
